Oh To Be at Cannes

If you’re like me, you wish you were in Cannes, France right now. The Cannes Film Festival is going on through Sunday. While it would be fun to see a film, I’d really like to be there to party on a yacht or two. I feel the same way about the Sundance Film Festival, why go to such a fantastic location packed with beautiful, interesting people just to sit in silence in the dark? I suppose the answer is: To have something to talk to them about on that yacht. So, in honor of Cannes, and the new book, “Cannes Cinema,” here are a couple of photos of stars on the beach. In Paris and Need a Manicure?

The hotel is in the trendy Marais district on the Place des Vosges so you may spot some fashion insiders in the armchairs next to you. Manicures are open to the public and just 25 euro (or about $33). Then there’s the little manner of the plane ticket…
